So i'm pretty sure our team builder is tomorrow...I guess we're just gonna do the one idea we had at the beginning of the year if thats ok with everybody...
the idea was to have everybody pair up (groups of 2) and have them sit back to back (maybe on the floor or turn their desks back to back.) Hand one person a picture, it should be pretty detailed, not super easy to duplicate. have the other person have a blank piece of paper and a pencil. The person with the picture has to try to describe to the other person how to draw the image without looking at the other person. The person with the blank piece of paper has to follow exactly what their partner says to try to duplicate the image. (depending on how much time this takes, if we need more time, we could have them switch roles and give them another drawing to duplicate.) In the end, we could compare to see who has the most closely duplicated image, and we could talk about how they communicated and what made them successful. Obviously the important lesson here is communicating and listening effectively to accomplish a common goal.
Sound good? Garrett, are you and sasha able to meet and make handouts for this teambuilder?
Louis said he would be able to print out copies of the images themselves.
